Their aim is to increase joint mobility & pain free range of movement as well as a better circulation within the joint.Joint mobilisation or manipulations are passive movement applied to a joint. Manual therapy of the soft tissues is the application of manual pressure to the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments & fascia.The soft tissue manual therapy technique are- muscle energy technique MET, myofascial release, tigger points release, neural mobilisation, visceral manipulation. Mobilisation with movement is application of manually applied accessory joint glide with pain free active movement.
